Love luxardo cherries! Plus they go well with whisky. Loved your twist on artificial intelligence meaning.

I feel like AI is, in some ways, leveling a playing field. Writers - lesser known, less famous ones, especially - have been told that things like pitches and summaries are part of the blood, sweat and tears of writing, as though spending time on these things while we have nothing to eat is noble and good because that's what makes us writers.

Meanwhile, privileged and famous writers have people who do this work for them.

I feel there's little to be gained from time spent on "grunt work." Let AI do it if it's capable.

A great point. Plus there is plenty of work to be done once AI has started it - it's not GOOD, it's just a good start.

Even the illustrious Jane Friedman thinks that Chat GPT has a place in writing and even uses it on occasion. It can be a big help and place to start from as you mention.
