THIS, this brought a smile to my face AND a little chuckle! It has been an unbelievably brutal week for us, as we let our sweet little Beagle girl, Holly, go last Monday. We are beyond devastated💔. Holly was our sixth Beagle (yes we are hooked) and also had separation anxiety. We worked with Malena DeMartini for two years, but that’s another story (Holly did recover.) I have read all your Goddamned Beagle stories, they are so relatable and hilarious! I really needed this and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know you know this, she had you the moment you saw her💗!

PS I hope these essays are going into a book which I would GLADLY pay to own....

But even better if it's an audio book that YOU narrate!

My week was kinda blah (ok, really blah) until I red today's post.....made my day. And as the creator of your new bronie-tea, I'm not even a little biased!

Okay, I'm in love with your dog. And it thrills me to no end that you are not only aware of Happy Turtle Tea but have sampled their fine offerings.

But.

How dare you advertise a show in which you're telling your own stories live in person, with absolutely zero regard for us superfans who live too far away to attend?! Callous. ... When you say that Story Collider is a podcast, is the implication that there will be a recording available later? Will you please let us know if and when that happens?

I’ll try to find out. I’m not sure if all presenters are recorded or how it works. The website seems to have many stories on it, but not all.

How wonderful that Theda Beagle is taking her temporary foster status in her stride, while also filling the echoey type places left by two Swissies.

Not sure I completely understand all the nuances related to the tea. To make up for it I am brewing myself a very strong bog standard English breakfast.

Marjie, I love reading your words (every time).

What fun! Can I join your kinda nutty dog community? (I believe in community.) Or I can add y’all to my small community here that got decimated by COVID. Not ‘cause anyone died (whew) but because they closed our dog park (Point Isabel, CA where we look at the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges from our side of the bay) and our rhythm got broken. Three of us meet up, but it’s not quite the same. And, thank god for Esten and Nancy. (I won’t list all our dogs, but it would be six plus an additional one now and then.) later

But of course!
