Marvelous as always however I do think one green and one purple sneaker would have solved the dilemma :) BTW, I'm sure you made that guy's day by grabbing his knee! Keep on writing, Marjie! You're fabulous at it!!!!!

Being, like you, one who 1) loves reading, 2) loves tea(s), and 3) chooses tea and cups depending on different variables, I'll give your story 80 points out of 100:

20 points because you read so much

10 points for each tea mentioned in the story. 10 x 4 = 40 points

10 points for each cup. 10 x 4 = 40 points

Minus 20 points because you read on a tablet.

I know, I'm a reading snob.

Or snobbish reader, whichever you like.

So many thoughts! They read like the beginnings of a good book. Are they the beginnings of a cozy mystery or will they be hard-boiled. Is there a romance in the offing. Molotov cocktails and shoe colors can take you either way. And of course the rules of tea make it real. I will make short stories in my head all day.

I inherited both the good Wedgewood and the good Noritaki. I will never use the bouillon cups. I detest gold rims on my tableware - too pretentious. Why did I agree to take them.
