I’ve always loved bookshelves as semi-curated gallery space, sharing insights into what interests a person. My current bookshelf situation is too poor to hold all my books, by half, but the stuff you can see still makes me happy when my eyes wander across the spines. The shapes, colors, fonts, and the actual words of the titles bring me a lot of joy.

How clever to put your purses out like that! Might I point out that there appears to be room for more on the bottom right? Just sayin'

Love the lighted book tree!

Thomas is absolutely wonderful.

The picture of your beloved dog is beautiful.

Thanks for the tour:)

Money doesn’t make an installation. Corks and bottle caps, poems, and pebbles, snapshots, and keyrings—anything and everything of meaning to us is an installation showcasing and surrounding us in the passions and memories we hold dear. Marjie -- that is the most beaultiful thought. I"ve learned that one way to get rid of stuff is to write about it -- put the passion and memories on paper and save the paper instead of dusty boxes of stuff that I haven't used in years. Or, make installations! I LOVE your installations. And that croissant light -- a keeper for sure.

He's spot on about the "installations ". Each a work of art in itself. You are expressing yourself in another way. Wonderful!

I can't wait to see your house(s). This one looks like it holds many treasures. I love the idea of keeping the dried flowers for decades. That's a beautiful thought and homenaje.

Am I the only one who laughed upon seeing the glowing croissant after reading about a possibly toxic elf village?

The book tree! The fans! Love love love!! I feel super inspired...

And buckwheat tea sounds intriguing. Thanks for sharing the link. I will see if I can borrow husband's Prime account to nip some.

What a wonderful description of your guitars. Sigh.

But buckwheat tea? I'm gonna have to take your word there as the idea just triggers little shudders within me.

Loved this.

I, along with your guitars, would love to hear more of those songs, even if with only one string at a time to accompany.

Marjie, love your pocketbook installation.....makes my heart swell because it makes me realize I'm not a crazy bat because I have my own installation of shoes (though I don't pet them much). Seriously, this story of yours is heart warming. Keep up your brilliant writing!
