The problem with writing posts in a responsible manner, with enough time to ponder and rework and edit and so on, is that one might, at the last minute, decide to submit it for publication somewhere else, leaving one back to one’s too-frequent last-minute posting.

I fully expect to share the piece with you next week after being politely rejected, but in the mean time, are you familiar with the TikTok trend going on right now with the hashtag #womeninmalefields, or sometimes #womeninmaledominatedfields?

They are spreading like wildfire, and range from funny to sad to vicious, and in most cases are works of ironic art.

While many men are enjoying the videos, many men are not, warning women that if they don’t stop making these videos, the men are going to take their toys and go home. If the women would just tell them where the toys are kept.
