It sounds like you're making progress, even if it might not feel that way. I'm always glad to follow your adventures in that foreign east coast world populated with wannabee corn.
But how do you really feel about it?? Awww, hopefully not too, too much longer and it can be a bad memory..it sounds cranky, annoying and a tiny bit evil.
Well said, Marjie!!! You certainly captured the essence of today's Somerville! I'd like nothing better than to get outta Dodge. I think I'll move into Alice's Ptown crate!!!!! :) Keep up the writing! It's always fabulous!!!!!
I always enjoy your writing! That sorghum plant looks like something used to make ensilage that is used to feed dairy cows. It's harvested, chopped up and buried for a while, then the tarp is pulled off and the cows get it. Love the beagle.

Wannabe Corn can be our band name!

Perfectly described!

I’ll get you your own fancy crate!
Love the photo of Alice. What a telling expression.
You used to write? You still do!!
We, all your friends, will be happy when you finally get that darn certificate of occupancy and settled in Provincetown.
She does have her opinions!
Oh wow. No wonder you are eager to get the hell out of dodge. You have been so restrained in not mentioning any of that previously.
Death by a million cuts, really.
The spirit of P-town be with you!
Thank you!

You're right! It is used for feed, and for people I think as well. And thank you.
Alice is saying “meh” 😕. Love her ❤️
I hope you enjoyed your time away Marjie! Cape Cod is so special. Provincetown is one of a kind. I’m so happy for you!
Your hard work and dedication and contributions to the Somerville community is very inspiring. 💕 Despite the “meh”.
Welcome to the 'hood! It's better because you're arriving!
“Mom, do we have to?!?!”
100% "But where's the BEACH?"
I must admit I chuckled with glee when I saw this! We want you here full time!!!
💕💕💕
Thank you.
